Think3 provides highly regarded Professional Development for teachers and school leaders in Apple and Google technologies and practical implementation in the classroom. Our workshops are BOSTES endorsed, offered as open enrolment workshops or onsite at schools in metropolitan and regional areas across Australia.
We work with principals and executive staff to develop practical strategies and plans for the effective use of technology for learning. Our technical advice, training and implementation are sought after by Department of Education IT teams and Schools; Catholic Schools and Diocese; and Independent Schools.
As members of the Apple Consultants Network with extensive experience in implementing Macs and Apple Servers into schools we understand the specific needs of education. Since the iPad’s release we have assisted hundreds of schools to deploy iPads for individual or shared use in classrooms. We have assisted schools to deploy Google Apps and Chromebooks since their release in Australia, and we are a Google for Education Partner.
Scott has 20 years experience in using technology for learning. As a teacher, he explored innovative use of technology. Scott worked at Apple as a Systems Engineer, assisting DET, Catholic and Independent sectors with strategy, professional development and implementation. He has worked as an Apple Certified Trainer delivering Apple Certified Technical Co-ordinator and Apple Certified System Administrator courses.
Today Scott uses all that experience consulting and training with a focus on iOS, Mac OS X, Mac OS X Server and Windows Integration. He provides professional learning on integrating iPads and Macs into learning programs, and assists school executive in strategy and planning.
Jonathan has over ten years experience in schools as a teacher and IT professional. As a talented music teacher, Jon’s passion for technology in learning led him to a number of ICT roles in schools across Sydney and more recently a return to the classroom in the Blue Mountains. This background brings a unique and valuable perspective when it comes to supporting other educators to set up, maintain and use technology for learning. Jon understands the classroom, which enables him to communicate with both teachers and IT staff effectively.
He specialises in implementation and support of Mac and iOS platforms, as well as systems administration within schools. Jon is respected for his extensive experience managing iPads in schools in both 1:1 and shared deployments.
Passionate about education, having worked extensively in speech pathology and assistive technology in schools, Lucy knows the potential of technology in education.
As office manager, Lucy provides the behind-the-scenes support for our field staff, handling the details of finance and administration. She ensures our professional development workshops across NSW run smoothly.
