WHEN
Register below for this after-school online event presented by the team from Apple, Jamf and Think3. See how configuration and deployment are now undertaken using Apple School Manager and Jamf School.
Tuesday 5 December 2023
3.30pm to 4.30pm
WHAT YOU WILL LEARN
In the past, Apple Configurator was used to configure sets of iPads manually, configure settings with profiles and install apps by connecting them to your Mac. The modern approach is to use a Mobile Device Management (MDM) solution like Jamf School to manage your devices remotely – no more connecting to USB to configure and update iPads.
Mobile Device Management allows you to wirelessly install apps, configure settings, remotely bypass Activation Lock, and even find devices using Lost Mode. This enables significant time-savings, and automatic updates over Wi-Fi.
This session will include demonstration of how:
Devices are automatically assigned to Jamf School, ready to be named and placed into groups. Devices can be updated to the latest operating system over Wi-Fi, and bypass Activation Lock.
Apps can be installed on devices and updated automatically over Wi-Fi using Jamf School, maintaining full ownership of your apps.
Profiles allow you to remotely configure many settings on your devices such as Wi-Fi configuration, school Wallpaper, set Restrictions to prevent users from changing settings and enable classroom management.
You will be provided with information on upgrading your Volume Purchase Program account to Apple School Manager
